Flowers always make people better, happier and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.

This spring, Jeff suggested we fill our planters with zinnias - a hearty annual from the sunflower group within the daisy family. These beauties hold a special place in Jeff's heart as they remind him of the color-filled gardens from his childhood.
I see now why Jeff loves them so much- not only have our zinnias done well this year, but the wall of color has been a constant source of joy and inspiration all summer long.
My friend, Chris, has joined me for tea among the blooms, and I have spent a portion of every day this season drinking in their beauty - even on hot days and rainy days, I enjoy them. Their simple beauty is a blessed reminder of just how spectacular nature truly is.
The containers are positioned just right -they are visible from the inside - happy...
Inspiration comes from all around us, and the beauty of my summer surroundings has turned me into a flower artist. The color and joy of my little garden have sent me down a creative path - impressionistic florals loaded with texture.
I find music to be the perfect navigational instrument for my journey. Join me.
